HABIT: Upright, sparsely branched
GROWTH RATE: Slow
FLOWERS: Yellow, April, slightly fragrant
FRUIT: Blue-black, 1/3", August-September, last through December, look like grapes
SOILS: Moist, well-drained, acid, protected location
LIGHTING: Prefers partial shade, will grow in the sun
USES: Foundation, border, specimen, shady areas
MAINTENANCE: Likes protected areas. Avoid hot, dry locations.

HARDINESS: Zone 6 to 9
HABIT: Upright, coarse texture, sparsely branched
GROWTH RATE: Medium
FLOWERS: Yellow, very fragrant, March-April
FRUIT: Blue berry, many, May-June
SOILS: Moist, well-drained, acid, protected location
LIGHTING: Part to full shade
USES: Foundation, border, specimen, shady areas, birds like the fruit
MAINTENANCE: Likes protected areas. Avoid hot, dry locations.
