GROWTH RATE: Slow to medium
FLOWERS: Not significant, fragrant, white
FRUIT: Not significant
SOILS: Prefers acid, moist, well drained, organic soils, will not withstand drought, does not like exposure to winds
LIGHTING: Partial to full shade best, however, it will grow in full sun too
USES: shrub border, hides leggy plants, shade bank, massing, nice with Rhododendrons
MAINTENANCE: Leaf spot, you may prune to the ground after flowering to rejuvenate this plant
